Jim Allen - ISBN 0-7603-0470-X- Published in 1998 this book is highly recommended to anyone interested in modifying their Jeep.
The Jeep Bible Second Edition
Granville King and Willie Worthy - ISBN 0-9618473-4-4 - Written in a folksy fashion, this is a very good book for repair and modification of the 1941 - 1986 Universal Jeeps.
Jeep Owners Bible
Moses Ludel - ISBN 0-8376-0154-1 - Covering all aspects of all Jeeps this is probably the most popular book on the subject.

David Fetherston - ISBN 0-7603-0184-0 - A nice "coffee table" book full of pictures of Jeeps taken through the years. A good visual history, this book also has many modified rigs.
Jp Magazine - The only rag I buy without checking the articles first. Said to be very slow in starting a new subscription.
4-Wheel & Off-Road - Great magazine, highly recommended.
4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine - Terrific Jeep oriented (not exclusive) content.
